Nuclear and high energy physics. Technology transfer and management of industrial research projects (renewable energy and nuclear medicine). Design and implementation of biomedical and e-health applications. Construction of a radioisotope production device that works with a particle accelerator.
French and Peruvian nationality, born on July 12, 1959 in Ayacucho-Peru, with address at Chemin du Closez 13, CH-1188 Vaud. He has a degree in Physics (by homologation) from the National University of Trujillo, Peru, Bachelor and Master in Mathematical Physical Sciences from the "Russian University of Friendship of the Peoples" in Moscow, Russia.
José Gálvez has a doctorate cum laude in nuclear physics from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain. Since 1982 he has worked as a university professor of physics at the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM), the National University of Engineering (UNI) and the private Ricardo Palma University (UPR). Starting in 1989, in Geneva, Switzerland, he worked for 20 years as an international civil servant and research scientist at the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN), Geneva, Switzerland, in experimental high-energy physics, nuclear medical physics, and renewable energy.
At CERN, he was also an associate professor at the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla (BUAP) in Mexico and a representative of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONCYTEC) in Peru. He was an international civil servant at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva, Switzerland. In the private sector, he is co-founder of the company Energy Life Sarl, notably his participation in IBEL SA for the construction of an activator system for the production of radioisotopes for the diagnosis of cancer and in Transmutex SA in the elaboration of a project for the development of an ADS system. He is an honorary professor at the National University "San Antonio Abad del Cuzco" (UNSAAC).
